Documentary Producer and Director Carrie Kirkpatrick is fundraising to complete the filming and editing of World War Witches, a dramatised documentary about the British witches and occultists believed to have used magical means to help defend Britain during WWII. Amongst them, Dion Fortune, Aleister Crowley and Gerard Gardner, all of whom would go on to create magical orders and traditions, which continue to inspire tens of thousands of practitioners today.

Dion Fortune, Aleister Crowley, and Gerard Gardner—renowned occultists who founded enduring magical traditions—are said to have joined forces during World War II to protect Britain from Nazi invasion through rituals, meditations, and invocations. Although the invasion never occurred, some attribute this to their occult efforts.

A new film aims to tell this untold story, emphasizing the significance of their magical defense work. The project, supported by the pagan and occult community, has partially completed filming but still needs funding to finish production. The campaign, led by Carrie Kirkpatrick, calls for donations to help complete and edit the film.
