Emma Tubmen is a South London-based singer-songwriter known for her unique, soulful, and bluesy voice, which many find emotionally moving and healing. She has a wide vocal range and an ethereal tone. Her performances feature a blend of thought-provoking ballads about love and life, including five or six original songs and various covers from English, French, and Spanish folk traditions, all delivered with interesting rhythms and dynamic variety. Emma accompanies herself on an old Spanish guitar using finger-picking style and is often joined by other musicians.
