The Magick Roundabout: – A Season of Circles, Cycles and Spirals – Carole Carlton

My life once comprised of straight lines – a year was a straight line which began on the 1st January and ended on the 31st December. I went to church each Sunday and sat in a straight pew, which in turn was one of many arranged in rows of straight lines and in later years my job offered me a straight climb up a straight career ladder.
In the early 1990’s however, I moved to Cornwall and found myself living next door to the enigmatic Mrs Darley, the lady who opened my eyes to the joys of living a life filled with magick. In addition, she taught me that straight lines are meant to be moulded and shaped, bent and twisted and that life does indeed comprise of circles, cycles and spirals.
